April Sims now on Alamy

Another stock photography site that I have been hearing a lot of buzz about is www.alamy.com.

With Alamy you also have to submit pictures for approval along with your application.  After you are approved, if you wish you can start keywording your approved images and prepare them to go live (on sale) or  you can choose to upload different images.  They approval can take up to 25 days, but so far I have been average 5 days.

 After you set your images up to go live it takes 24 hours for them to appear on your page (unless it is a weekend, then it will be the next business day).

I have several images that should go live later on today.  I prepped them last night.

  1. Hi April, Ive just signed up to alamy today. Im waiting for approval now; fingers crossed. I liked a lot of your images by the way, especially AR1YGR of the crying baby!
